Thank you for choosing Mann & Salwa for your upcoming event. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and creating an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. To ensure everything runs smoothly and expectations are clearly aligned, we kindly ask that you review the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions or require clarifcation, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Minimum Guest Count:
Our compositions are applicable for a minimum of 750 guests.
Guaranteed Guest Count:
The guest count must be confirmed at the time of booking. Any increase in the guest count must be shared at least 15 days before the event, and additional guests will be charged at the per-guest rate outlined in the contract. A reduction in the confirmed guest count cannot be accommodated. Food will be prepared with a 10% buffer over the confirmed number of guests.
Payment and Deposits:
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total contract price is required at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 15 days before the event date; failure to do so will be considered a cancellation. For events booked less than 15 days before the scheduled date, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Payments are accepted by local cheque only (in favour of Mann Salwa Caterers LLP), and a copy of the PAN/TAN card must be submitted for billing purposes.
Cancellations and Refunds:
The 30% advance deposit is non-refundable. If any additional payments have been made beyond this deposit, they may be issued as a credit note - valid for the same or upcoming financial year, provided the event is cancelled at least 60 days prior to the scheduled date. For cancellations made within 60 days of the event, the full amount will be retained and no refunds or credits will be issued.
Taxes:
Applicable government, state, and local taxes will be charged in addition to the contract price. Tax rates are subject to change based on government regulations and will be applied at the prevailing rate on the event date.
Portion Plates:
Mann & Salwa provides portion plates at chaat and dessert stations. If portion plates are required at speciality live counters, a headcount will be considered to determine the number of guests served.
On-site Requirements:
To ensure smooth service, a kitchen area with adequate facilities should be available for food preparation. Tables for the buffet and kitchen setup, with cloth masking and power plug points by the decorator, should be provided. Access to staff toilets should be available throughout the event. All necessary permissions and licenses are required to host the event.
Additional Services:
VIP stewards & stewardesses are provided at an additional charge. Sajjangouth / Panchola arrangements will be made for a maximum of 50 guests, and will be offered once, towards the end of the event.
Extended Event Hours:
If the event extends beyond midnight, an additional charge of INR 45,000 per hour will be applied.
Outstation Events:
For events held outside Ahmedabad, additional catering charges will apply. The client is responsible for arranging accommodation and basic necessities for the catering staff as well as any event-specific requirements.
Force Majeure and Event Disruptions:
Mann & Salwa's performance is subject to the absence of strikes, labour disputes, accidents, severe weather, legal restrictions, market shortages or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions to the menu, equipment, or other services as necessary.
Damages:
The client is responsible for ensuring that their contractors comply with company guidelines. Any damage to materials or equipment caused by the client or their contractors will be the client's responsibility, and appropriate charges will be applied.
Outside Food and Beverages:
Outside food & beverages are strictly prohibited during the event.
Guest Belongings
Mann & Salwa will not be responsible for any loss of guests' personal belongings during the event.
